The Yarnmongers of Pontyclun are a wonderfully talented and close-knit community of crafters who use their needles and creativity to make a real difference. Famously known for their incredible charity marathons, these amazing ladies recently put their skills to the test by hand-knitting and felting a staggering 281 unique kidneys for the charity One’s Enough. Featured on ITV Wales News, their beautiful creations were crafted to be gifted to participants tackling the grueling 3 Peaks Challenge to raise vital awareness for kidney donation. It is this exact spirit of community, endless creativity, and crafting with a purpose that inspired the birth of Knit a Woolly!
