Did you catch Carolyn on BBC Radio Wales? On March 21st, 2026, she joined Oliver Hides live over the phone to announce the next big mission for the Yarnmongers and Ones Enough team.

After famously lugging 180 litres of "blood" across the Welsh Three Peaks last year, Carolyn and her crew of family and friends are back—and they’re going even bigger.

The Mission: National Three Peaks Challenge

The team is preparing to summit the highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales. But this time, their backpacks are filled with handmade kidneys.

These aren't just crafts; they are catalysts. The team will be handing out these knitted kidneys to fellow hikers on the trails to:

  • Break the ice on the vital topic of organ and kidney donation.

  • Share the message that "One's Enough" when it comes to living donation.

  • Encourage families to have the "big talk" about their donation wishes.

Listen in to hear Carolyn describe the physical challenge ahead and the heartfelt meaning behind the Yarnmongers' and the trek ahead.
