This past Saturday, June 6th, was World Transplant Day—a global event dedicated to raising awareness about the life-saving power of organ donation and celebrating the incredible individuals who make it possible.
To mark the occasion, the One's Enough team packed up our badges, laced up our coats, and headed down to Cardiff Bay.
The Welsh weather definitely decided to test us, but we weren't going to let a little bit of rain and wind dampen our spirits! We spent a number of hours braving the elements, and honestly? We wouldn’t have been anywhere else.

Sharing Spares & Spreading the Word
Our main mission for the day was simple: start conversations and 'share some spares.'
We set up shop and spent the day chatting with the wonderful locals and visitors walking through the Bay. We gave out heaps of our signature One's Enough badges, which are always a fantastic conversation starter. It was incredible to see people pinning them proudly to their jackets right then and there!
Every conversation we had was a chance to bust myths and remind people of the powerful truth behind our campaign: when it comes to saving a life through kidney donation, One's Enough.

The Mission Continues
A massive thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us, grabbed a badge, or shared their story. Even in the grey weather, Cardiff Bay showed us a huge amount of heart.
World Transplant Day comes once a year, but the need for awareness never stops. We’re already planning our next pop-up, so keep an eye on our pages to see where the One's Enough team will be heading next!
