At One's Enough, our mission is simple: we want to get people talking about living kidney donation. We believe that you only need one kidney to live a full, healthy, and active life—which means you have a precious spare that could give someone their future back.
This September marks an important milestone. It has officially been 20 years since the Human Tissue Act 2004 came into effect, legally opening the door for non-directed altruistic living organ donation in the UK.
To mark this 20th anniversary, we are launching a special digital campaign: we have sent out 20 unique, golden knitted kidneys to 20 different people, and we are hoping they will help us share this life-saving message online.
